Posted: Sun Dec 18, 2011 12:05 pm Black Belt was a pretty awesome kung fu type game that was originally released for the Sega Master System. It combined side scrolling punch and kick style game play (like Nintendo's Kung Fu cart) but with power ups and cool Street Fighter style boss fights at the end of every level. I used to really be really good at this, now I'm getting my ass handed to me 3 levels into the game. Anyway, here are some of the bosses.
Title Screen  1st boss Ryu. Apparently if your name is Ryu you are destined for martial arts.  2cnd boss, Hawk getting served a bowl of unconsciousness. That'll teach you to bring boomerangs to a karate fight.  3rd boss, Gonta. Fatboy moves like he's got ice skates on. Here he is handing me my ass.  |
